Kindle Fire 2 Spec Rumours
- Bigger Screen 9-10″ has been rumoured according to Digitimes which reports that the Kindle Fire 2 screen will be 9.7 inches, or maybe 10.1 inches.
- Quad Core Processor The boys over at BGR stated that they think Amazon will release a Quad core tablet by the end of 2012 dubbed codename “Hollywood”. We think this rumour to be true as the Kindle Fire 2 will need to have similar specs to the ipad 3 and other tablets to compete.
- More Amazon less Android Amazons goal with their tablets is to use it as a vessel to increase sales from their core business which is online shopping. The new kindle fire 2 could look more like a new os than Android as it will promote the Amazon app store more than the Android Market and will be tailored to Amazon users and entice shopping at the online giant.
